We’ll be meeting at our assigned staging spot (#168), which is located on Park Ave. between Polk Ave and Centre St. – roughly in front of Uptown Optometry (SDUnited has a different meetup spot). WHAT TO BRING
- Your Pride Shirt and any other fun attire
- Water bottle (we’ll have a filling station)
- Snacks
- Sunscreen, a hat and/or an umbrella

GETTING THERE…
Take the bus!
Find parking along the #11 Bus route, and get off at Park & Polk. You can take the #11 Bus back from 1st and Laurel St. Remember to download the Pronto app and load $5 for the fare there and back
Free Parking
You can park all day at the Balboa Naval Medical Center and then take the free shuttles taking marchers to float staging area. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours if you choose to park and take the shuttle. You could also call an uber/lyft to get to the staging area to save time. Either way, at the end of the parade it’s a pleasant walk over the Cabrillo Bridge and through Balboa Park back to your car.
SD UNITED TEENS:
The staging area is in a different place than NHUnited for the parade, and there’s plans to walk over together with youth leaders from a nearby park.
