#WeAllCount2025
Join us for the Point-in Time Count on January 30th! This is a SUPER important thing that we get to participate in every year. Each year the city of San Diego invites people to volunteer their time to literally go out and count our unhoused population. While counting, folks have the opportunity to give real time resources and help to folks, and also extremely important: this count determines where funding will go for the next year.
Angelie will be leading this year, and we hope that you will join! Upon arriving to our meeting location we will receive a map of the area we are responsible for as well as some gift cards and socks and hygiene supplies. Our group will head to our mapped area and either drive or walk the route, taking special care to check for people in alleys, canyons, parking lots, etc. When we find someone, if they are awake we can conduct a brief survey, and will record information into an app to count them. You’ll receive a short 30-minute training session and an overview of the counting process via email.
For more details and additional information about the WeAllCount initiative, please visit the RTFH (Regional Task Force on Homelessness) website.
Fill out this form by January 20th to attend and we will register you as part of our group. If you have any questions, email Angelie at angelie@nhunited.org.
Details: 4am-8am, January 30th
