Good Friday Service
Good Friday Service
On the Friday evening before Easter, we invite you into a quiet, reflective worship experience in the Sanctuary as we recall Jesus’ final hours before his death. Using the last seven sayings of Jesus to guide us through the story, members of the community will reflect on them through original pieces of art, poetry, and music. The evening will follow the Tenebrae style, which means “darkening.” As the story is told through the service, the Sanctuary will gradually darken in observation of Christ’s death.
