This new care group will bring together LGBTQ+ folks of all genders and journeys for twice-monthly gatherings centered on friendship, spiritual reflection, and community care. We will laugh, listen, pray, create, and serve–supporting one another as sacred companions on the journey. Allies will be welcomed in some future gatherings or special events, but the regular rhythm will center queer voices and experiences.
Inspired by Saints Perpetua and Felicity
In 203 CE, two early Christian women–Perpetua, a noblewoman, and Felicity, an enslaved woman– shared a bond of courage and faith that carried them through persecution and into sainthood. Their story of resistance, love, and chosen family inspires some group name options:

What to Expect
- A multigenerational (18+) space for LGBTQ+ members of our church
- Biweekly mid-week gatherings at Cameron’s home
- Begins shortly after San Diego PRIDE 2025
- Dates, times, and location shared privately with interested participants
