Welcome to another week! Here’s your roundup of everything coming up…
Our Care Team is here to provide care and support as you navigate life’s difficult moments. From a simple text letting you know you’re not alone, to an in person visit, these folks are here to come alongside you based on what would be most helpful to you. The Care Team includes folks trained as therapists, chaplains, spiritual directors, and all of whom care deeply about this community.
You can connect with a member of the Care Team by checking the box for follow-up on your prayer card on Sunday mornings. Additionally, if you would like to connect with them without putting in a prayer request, you can fill out the direct request card and place it in the Care Team box at the Unite Prayer Station. You can also always send Pastor Molly an email to get connected…

We are deeply grieved and horrified at the news of the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego today that left at least three dead and many traumatized.
No one of any faith should ever feel unsafe in their place of worship. We condemn this violence, and the hate-filled rhetoric about our Muslim siblings that causes it to occur. We join with countless voices saying that islamophobia has no place in San Diego.
We are praying for the safety and healing of all those affected.
if you want to support, you can donate to the ICSD Victim & Family Support Fund (the link is in our bio). We’re also joining with other faith communities to participate in Wear Orange Sunday on June 7th as a visible act of prayer, remembrance, and hope for an end to gun violence.
We’ll continue to share more ways you can support those affected as we hear of them.
And always, we pray.
Ok, we’re starting out a new weekly post where we do a recap of all the announcements we made in worship on Sunday morning. This week we have Sexuality & Spiritual on Tuesday, Queer Small Group Thursday night and Sack Lunch Sunday next weekend. Just added to the calendar: a new date for the Young Adult Thrifting, a new concert called “Mystic Hymnal” and a Kids Ministry Family get-together for Ice Cream and Swimming (RSVP online). That’s just the cliff notes, for all the details and a few other events we didn’t include in this update, go to our website calendar.
We`re just a couple weeks into Asian American Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and there are still so many great things happening around San Diego for you to celebrate! Swipe through for a couple highlighted events, or visit www.daylightsandiego.org and search for the article titled "How to celebrate AANHPI month in San Diego" for an even fuller list!
Tonight marks the return of our monthly casual discussion group here at NHUnited, called "Faith on Tap!" This month`s topic is the Bible...how do we use it and what in the world does it mean? We`ll chat about it with snacks and drinks in a local backyard (Ross family) from 6:30-8:00pm. DM for address and see you there!
