How to be prepared and help…

Published: 07/06/2025

On the Fourth of July we posted a guide on instagram with three steps to support and protect immigrants.

  1. Add the CA Rapid Response hotline number to your phone
  2. Bookmark the CCIJ contact page for next steps
  3. Sign your support for the Sensitive Locations Act

Step one:

add the San Diego Rapid Response Network (SDRRN) to your contacts…
ICE Hotline – San Diego
(213) 833-8283

Step two:

Bookmark this lint to find numbers for other areas and more resources for when friends or family are detained:
CCIJustice.org/carrn

Step three:

Sign your support for the Sensitive Locations Act (H.R. 1061)
prohibit immigration enforcement actions in spaces that provide essential services and refuge, such as houses of worship, schools, hospitals, courthouses, and other community centers…
Go to this webpage to easily fill out a form that emails your representatives!
