Invitation to Action!

With so many injustices going on both near and far it can feel overwhelming to know where to put your energy. No one person can do it all, that’s what community is for. It’s up to you where you put your energy, but if you’re looking for ideas here are a couple. If you are curious about ways to get involved with supporting people at immigration court, as Pastor Molly talked about in her sermon on Sunday, here are two places you can volunteer: FAITH (there’s an orientation on August 18th) and Detention Resistance. 

And, if you’re watching the horrors taking place in Gaza and want to get involved in actions that would change our government’s policies, you can email your elected officials to urge their support of the Block the Bombs Act going before Congress. These are just two things among many, and every action large or small matters.
