Come to us with your pastoral care needs!

Hey everyone,

Brent is officially on his sabbatical, and though we’ll miss him dearly around here, we also have a lot of exciting things to look forward to this summer!

One of those exciting things we’ll be doing this summer is having a bunch of guest preachers come in and preach during our Sunday services! I’ll be preaching more as well, but I’m excited that we’re going to get to hear from a diversity of voices. Some of these folks will be familiar faces to you, and others will be entirely new. Regardless of if you know them already or not, please give all of our guest preachers a warm NHUnited welcome when they’re here!

We’ll also be gearing up to celebrate Pride again this year, including walking in the parade again! More information will be coming out about that soon, but for now make sure you get the date of the parade on your calendars, Saturday July 19th, so you can be sure to join us there.

Kids Camp is coming up in June, so please sign your kiddos up, and if you have some time to volunteer, even if just for one day, we’d love to have you help out.

Faith on Tap is officially back and we had a great conversation last week. Make sure to mark your calendars for the first Thursdays of June and July for even more great conversations. (We’ll take a break in August, but then finish out the San Diego summer months in September and October before it takes a break for the winter again.)

Finally, though our staff is picking up a little extra work with Brent not being here, we have been planning and preparing for the shift. Many of you have already stepped up to help out, and we’re so grateful. And, our doors are always open to you! Please do not hesitate to come to us with your pastoral care needs, your wonderful ideas, and anything that you feel we should know. No need to worry about bothering us with anything extra, we’re still here for you!
