Wake up early with us next Thursday 1/29 as we volunteer to go out and survey our unhoused community to quantify their needs, while sharing gift cards and supplies with them 💜

Each year we take part in volunteering as a group for the county’s “We All Count” survey. On the morning of January 29th, 1700 volunteers will count every person in our unhouse community and wherever possible - asking them a short survey of questions. This allows the RTFH (Regional Task Force for Homelessness) be able to quantify what is needed to help those in need and understand how better to meet those needs.

The data collected in this one day is also key for so many charities and agencies that provide support to receive funding by quantifying needs to agencies and donors.

If you’d like to take part in this year’s group: signup via the link in our bio, go to the calendar on our website, or reach out to MollyRose@NHUnited.org #weallcount
Our annual Belong Membership Class meets on Sunday mornings for a total of 8 weeks (with a break on President’s Day Weekend) and finishes with a one-day retreat on March 28th. Over the program you will learn about NHUnited Church, the history of Christianity, theology, grounding spiritual practices, interpreting Scripture and how all of these come together in a community and spiritual life! Full details and signup on our website (NHUnited.org). If you have any questions, feel free to email Pastor Molly at… Molly@NHUnited.org
All month we’re collecting donations of…

 • Socks
 • Jackets
 • Blankets

… to keep our unhoused community warm and cozy as the weather continues to get colder.
6pm this Sunday is our Blue Christmas Service

Some of us are entering the Christmas season and though we are surrounded by holiday cheer, we’re not feeling particularly cheerful. Whether you’ve lost someone this year and it’ll be your first Christmas without them, or you’re grieving the state of the world right now, this service is for you. Join us for a time of lament, contemplation, and comfort, as we gather to weather this season together.
It was another beautiful All Souls Day worship service today. Thank you so much to Ramón and his friends for building such a beautiful altar and blessings us and the altar with rich and meaningful traditions. #normalheights #nhunited #allsoulsday #díadelosmuertos
Thanks to everyone who volunteered to host and decorate a door, donated candy and came to visit last night for our annual Knock Around The Block Event! See you again next year!
With SNAP benefits being impacted during the government shutdown, we are changing our schedule to having our bi-monthly Sack Lunch Sunday ministry be EVERY WEEK in the month of November. Donations of food (see below) and joining us in packing lunches to share with the community – are two ways you can support this. Stayed tuned with more ways to get involved with helping those in need that we are working on and will be announcing shortly.

here is the Sack Lunch Sunday description from our event page…
After service we get together at noon on Sunday in the church kitchen to prep sack lunches to fill our community fridge. All are invited to come and participate! If you can’t stay to help pack lunches, we invite you to drop off any donations before or after worship if you can. Here are a few of the items we are always in need of:
-Granola Bars
-Juice Boxes
-Fruit
-Cheese Sticks
